One would think that Newman University being a small liberal arts college in the middle of the country would not hold that many opportunities for personal growth and good old fashion fun. On the contrary my friend, Newman holds many activities and positions that are SO enjoyable. For example, I was under the foolish impression that there was nothing at Newman for me besides soccer. I thought that my networking and extracurricular activities would stop there. Now I have an array of organizations that I am in and I want to do more. I am a member of the soccer team and as you can tell am an ambassador for the school. I am also a part of DiRT, diocesan retreat team, and volunteer at local clinics. At Newman there are plenty of opportunities to grow as a person. In fact there are more than you can handle, trust me!
