This coming weekend is going to be very busy at Newman. First, R cubed is this weekend. It is a retreat put on for students by students. They travel to some random location, relax, meet new people, listen to talks, eat, and play! This time they are going up to Nebraska for the retreat, and I think I heard someone say something about riding 4 wheelers. That sounds like an absolute blast! Another huge plus is that the retreat is free!
Our other big event is this Saturday the 7th. We are having our NU Day! This is always very exciting because it is a chance for students that are interested in Newman to come and check out the college and participate in a lot of random fun events. It is a laid back day to check out the campus without the pressure because the students are with a group. It is always fun to see a variety of new students around campus.
Then last but not least is the Latin Dance this Friday! Our Multicultural Leadership Organization is hosting their annual Latin Dance. They have dance lessons before and then they break out the music for dancing. So with these things and all of the sports, it is going to be pretty crazy.
