Philosophy and Shootings

About Louise Sjoberg

Hello,

So I just realized something today. I have totally turned around. I used to “hate” philosophy (NOT because of Dr. Fox he is awesome!), I dreaded going to that class (it might have been because the class is early and I had trouble with staying awake), but lately I have seen a shift in my attitude. I wished that it could have come around earlier.

I think that I thought “why on earth do I need to know this,” but really, I have come to the conclusion that philosophy relates to most, if not all, things in life. I really enjoyed reading Rousseau (again) – check him out if you have some freetime at some point.

About the shootings in Texas… I am so sad that this was allowed to happen. It is too tragic. And I would like to send out a thought to the families of the soldiers who were killed.

Take care,

Louise

I feel the same way about that class…it has its dull points where I always tend to fall asleep but I like it most the time :)

    Hey,

How about not “hating” any subject before you get to see the beuty of it? Every subject you learn in college will benefit you in the future eventhough you might think otherwise for the time being.
