I love the Olympics. Though most Americans do not seem to care… This makes me a bit confused. I mean, it is not like you are losing? You have the most medals (a few more than Germany and Norway), and still no interest at all. Even when you guys beat Canada in hockey, nothing. Nobody talks about it, ok one person so far.

Back home the olympics is a huge event. My friends went to bed at like 8:30p.m. to wake up at 6a.m. to see the game Sweden-Finland. Crazy huh?

Anyways, hope all of you have a good day. Try to catch some olympic games too!

    Agreed, the Olympics are great!
Yay for competition, pride and camaraderie!
I almost feel bad about about beating Canada in “their” game — perhaps they’ll fare better in curling…
    Go USA!
    (and Sweden)

I think I saw my first Olympics (on t.v. of course!) in 1968. It was in Japan that year (I think!) Most memorable? The 1980 U.S. Hockey win. I was home from Newman with the flu! And of course I love Leo Arnaud’s fanfare…
