Not long after I received my current cell phone I began to play with all of the Apps that were available with great enthusiasm. While doing so I happen to come across an interesting news bubble App that would randomly display pieces of news from all around. Though today when I opened my phone the headline caught my attention immediately, “Germans Giving up on Global warming”. My first thoughts “They’re fixing Global warming?”  Though reading on it wasn’t exactly what I interpreted as, the article, saying that after a Poll reported by the Der Spiegel (The Mirror), A German weekly published magazine, which is Published in Hamburg. Reported that just 42% of Germans are worried about Global Warming, A pretty decent amount of people as far as the survey goes. That being a major decrease from the major 62% that were worried back in 2006. I stopped to think, wow, Global warming was a pretty big deal a few years ago and I really have not paid it much attention at all. Leaving me with the question of “Is Global warming really that big of a deal?”, also is it really as important as it was in 2006?

I personally don’t think so, or maybe I’m just ignorant and haven’t paid as much attention as I should have. Though I believe things should be done differently as far as emissions and greenhouse gasses go to help better our environment. I also feel that I just don’t have a firm grasp of the Topic that is global warming and what it is actually threatening.

With all of this I manage to distract myself from the three chapter write ups I have to have done real soon. So with that back to work I go!
