Hey y’all!! So we’re back for another semester!! I hope everybody’s break went fantastic and was filled with eventful happenings!! Hopefully everyone got plenty of sleep and is now rested enough to begin the new semester because I know I am!
Well while my Christmas break wasn’t quite filled with extravegent events I did get plenty of sleep and plenty of spoiled moments! I got a ton of presents this year, such as my new Ipod mini that I seem to have my nose in constantly now and a bunch of clothes and shoes, and a new camera, and best of all my sister symbolically adopted a tiger, a cheetah, and a snow leopard through the WWF in my name!!! I’m so excited!! I’m extremely obsessed with the Big Cat family, specifically tigers (my cat’s name is Tiger 
) so this gift was amazingness in a box!!!! Anyways, Christmas was awesome, with a fantastic start at midnight mass and oh yea Texas had a white Christmas!! That’s right guys it snowed in Dallas!! However, I decided to be lazy and stay in my pjs all day and sit around playing on my mini!!
So my 21st birthday was two days later and it was awesome! Went to the Melting Pot with my family for some delicious yummy fondue! And then I hung out with friends the next day!! Like I said my Christmas break wasn’t too eventful but there were moments every once in awhile, but for the most part I spent a lot of time in my pjs, on the couch watching tv! Oh and I turned in my passport application so I’m one step closer to Europe this summer!! Have I mentioned I’m excited! I love when it’s a new year because then you just get excited about what you have planned for the upcoming year!! I know everyone says new year=new me but it’s true! I plan to focus more on myself this year and look at the bright side of things because there are so many good things in this world that we overlook everyday!! Like how I’m lucky to be alive and coming to an awesome school like Newman! I loved having a break and being able to do nothing and be lazy but I’m not going to lie, I was definitely ready to come back!!

Hey y'all!!! I'm Victoria or Tori! I'm from Dallas, Texas and a junior here at Newman! I"m an English/Psychology major and try to stay as busy as possible. I'm a part of chorale, pep band, psych club, Newman's awesome literary journal staff, ASC scholar, student leader, and I'm always packing my class schedule as much as possible. I'm obsessed with sleep, candy, my cat Tiger, and a few tv shows. I love to write so there might be quite a few entries! :) Not quite sure what I'm gonna do with the rest of my life but I'm super excited for it...I like to go with the flow a little!
