Hey guys!!!

So this weekend I was sick and let me tell y’all it sucked! I was so bored because of course no one wants to hang out with the sick person so I spent the end of last week and most of the weekend in my bed. The good thing was I got plenty of sleep…even though I wasn’t quite behind on sleep yet. Anyways I had a visitor this weekend!! My best friend from high school came up to visit me!! Even when I was sick she sat on the bed and we watched LifeTime movies together. No seriously we watched LifeTime the ENTIRE day! All the way up to the premiere of Prosecuting Casey Anthony. It was a pretty good movie but remind how frustrating that case was but anyways we decided to finally get out of bed to go get pizza and wings and ice cream and then climbed back into bed to watch more movies like Pitch Perfect. Now let me tell you that is one movie that never gets old!! One of the best things about being sick besides the sleep was having my boyfriend buy and make me Chicken Noodle Soup . He’s a cutie that took care of me and then would leave so he wouldn’t get sick but who cares haha I got free soup without having to do anything but lie in bed .

I was finally better Sunday night and so my friend and I decided to go out with everyone and join the human world and it was a blast!! We definitely felt like vampires this weekend since everytime we left the room it was nighttime and we slept all through the day haha! I can definitely say I have some of the greatest friends in the world. Anyways besides being sick and having the greatest friends ever my weekend wasn’t too eventful but I hope y’all enjoyed the 3 day weekend!!

Hope all the Newman peeps competing in Nebraska this week are killing it and representnig the awesomeness that is Newman University!! Good Luck guys!!

Hey y'all!!! I'm Victoria or Tori! I'm from Dallas, Texas and a junior here at Newman! I"m an English/Psychology major and try to stay as busy as possible. I'm a part of chorale, pep band, psych club, Newman's awesome literary journal staff, ASC scholar, student leader, and I'm always packing my class schedule as much as possible. I'm obsessed with sleep, candy, my cat Tiger, and a few tv shows.
