I have once again been debating my future. I have begun looking at Fashion schools…most specifically FIDM…one of the most popular Fashion institutes in the country. It would be an absolute honor to attend school there.

I am also teaching myself Spanish! I have been doing very well so far! I have one aunt who speaks spanish as her first language, so I am eager to surprise her with what I have learned the next time I see her. I take lessons online and then text one of my roommates completely in spanish. Both of these have been a great help. I believe that knowing another language will greatly help whatever degree I pursue! After learning Spanish, I plan to explore the languages of French, Italian and Portuguese. It should be a lot of fun!

Yesterday was NU Senior Day! It was really great to help with that! I also want to give a shout out to Chelsey Potter, who I officially met for the first time yesterday! She is just as sweet as everyone said! All of the little seniors had good questions for the ambassador board. I hope to see some of them next year!

In one week, I will be Oklahoma bound with my BFF. OU vs. Texas Tech here we come! Plus, OK city got that new outlet mall that I am excited to go to!

Many people believe that one’s senior year of college is similar to one’s senior year of high school. You rule the campus, go to class whenever you want, leisurely do your school work, stay out late and often and essentially throw all caution to the wind. For many seniors and my fellow classmates this is true….except for me! I decided to fill my freshman year with ‘gen eds’ and other nonsense course that would not fill my major requirements or my graduation requirements and on top of that I decided to change my major mid-summer of my sophomore year from Business to Biology. So here I am my last semester of my senior year taking 20 credit hours and holding down 3 jobs! So one can say that I’m a little jealous of some of my fellow classmates but as the say in Rome “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger”. I actually I doubt that phrase came from Rome or has any Roman origin. So Ill just keep trucking along and keep telling myself  ’14 more weeks, 14 more weeks’

As the break came to a close I could not help but think of my impending doom, finals. It was safe to stay that when Monday rolled around part of me wanted to put on the breaks because the thought of finals made me squirsh. Yet another part of me wanted them to hurry up and get here; the sooner I can take them the sooner I can graduate! Either way I am very excited about this week. One last chance to enjoy time and make memories with my friends!
