Many people believe that one’s senior year of college is similar to one’s senior year of high school. You rule the campus, go to class whenever you want, leisurely do your school work, stay out late and often and essentially throw all caution to the wind. For many seniors and my fellow classmates this is true….except for me! I decided to fill my freshman year with ‘gen eds’ and other nonsense course that would not fill my major requirements or my graduation requirements and on top of that I decided to change my major mid-summer of my sophomore year from Business to Biology. So here I am my last semester of my senior year taking 20 credit hours and holding down 3 jobs! So one can say that I’m a little jealous of some of my fellow classmates but as the say in Rome “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger”. I actually I doubt that phrase came from Rome or has any Roman origin. So Ill just keep trucking along and keep telling myself ‘14 more weeks, 14 more weeks’

Friday was blast! We had seniors from all over KS, OK, and MO here for senior day. The day was filled with randomness, food, prizes, and fun. After the success of our Senior day, I’m excited to see the variety of students that come to our campus for NU day on the 22nd of November. NU is going to have even more students and fun activities for the event on November 22nd, because it is open to more than just seniors in high school. Along with that, it is our Homecoming weekend-”GO JETS,” which means a lot more fun!

Until then, I have to get papers written, tests taken, and apply to grad schools. Luckily the craziness of studying is split up by the random fun.

Three Cheers…………………….for the “JETS”
